Author Jessica Hooper is on tour, somewhat with Ghost Bees, to promote her new awesome book that encourages our female kin-folk to pick up instruments. I am so supportive of this idea I'm giddy with excitement contemplating all the new music that will come forth because of such a book.

So, here are the dates for my reading tour to support the publication of "The Girls' Guide to Rocking" (Workman), the how-to book I wrote for young ladies on how to start a band, play music, etc. The July dates are solo and start next week, the August dates are with Toronto's own Katie Stelmanis and her 5 girl band + twin sister duo Ghost Bees--readings and rocking events. Katie's voice might sound familiar--she sang on the last Fucked Up record and has a new EP on Vice UK. ... . Also, for UK ppl: The book is coming out Sept. 1st overseas.
