I will flat out admit that I don't fully understand the popularity of the majority of the bands that played the Mile High Music Festival. I'm not a fan of the majority of the stuff played on the radio (I could only really tell you the station of 2 radio stations: 1190AM [because it's pretty awesome] and 93.3FM [because they were a sponsor of Mile High), I'm really not a fan of jam bands, and pop music is all but completely lost on me.
All that said, I had a good time at the Mile High Music Festival this weekend. There were enough bands that help my interest quite a bit, and I did some very fun and awesome interviews, and the festival felt a lot more organized than last year, in the sense that the stages were just in better places, and there weren't very many similar bands playing at the same time. The food tents and bathroom area were also a lot better placed. All in all, like last year, a VERY well organized festival. I could go on and on about how pleased I was with the media area and the wonderful people working there.
Anyway, a very pleasant weekend despite the fact that a good potrion of the bands were really not my thing. I'll give full reports on each that I saw. The first one will be up very very shortly
