Jet was a band that all but fell of my radar after their one big hit about a girl, but apparently they're still radio stars and still jamming out and having a good time. They jammed out their jams and did the rock star thing, but I couldn't find myself all that engaged by their performance. The audience seemed to really dig it, and a bunch of people around me seemed to know the words to quite a few of the songs, but I just found myself getting more antsy to see what else was around. I don't at all blame Jet for this, because they were certainly interesting to watch as they jumped around and rocked out on stage, I just think I've become, in most cases, discontent with modern rock. Granted, I've never really been much of a fan, but I just can't seem to engage myself in the genre at all. Heck, most things with even remotely safe sounding guitar is likely to turn me off.
