I only stuck around for a little bit of John Butler's set as it wasn't much of my kind of music. He had this DMB, John Mayer style swing to him that didn't sit well with me, but certainly had a lot of people at the festival on their feet swaying and singing along. The drummer dutifully beat out some undercover complicated rhythms while John played slide guitar and sang with pop over and under tones about love and life and everything in between. I'm glad to have seen so many people supporting what these fellas are doing, because they certainly seemed to be having a good time.
