I had some pretty high expectations for G. Love & Special Sauce, despite their name, because people all around me were talking up the band to no end. I had heard a few tracks online and just assumed that the fairly average Funk/Reggae-ish Jam Band sound really came alive during the live show. After a few songs at the Rhapsody Tent I began to feel like I shouldn't have built it up in my mind like I had, because, live, they were pretty much what I had heard online, and I was a little let down. Again, they were undeniably talented and the crowd was taken in by their spell within a few minutes, and it's always nice to see a tent full of people as happy as these people were :)
