'08's Music to Love More Than Music: Like, Pt. 3

Like ( )
Guillemots - Red
Super mellow chill out folk. Worth a listen or two at least. The lyrics are delivered in this soothing way that is actually a little off-putting, but it works out.
Guillemots - Get Over It

Cat Power - Jukebox
Still disappointed that Metal Heart isn't a cover of Accept haha :). (see original review)
Cat Power - A Woman Left Lonely (Janis Joplin)

Megapuss - Surfing
Devendra Banhart's new little project that is awkward to say the least. Songs degrading the president being one of the more awkward moments on the album, it's an entertaining listen, but I wouldn't exactly say that it's cannon in the Devendra Banhart Story. But if it were to be considered, think about it as something similar to the oddest things from his first two releases.
Megapuss - Duck People Duck Man

Sam Sparro - Sam Sparro
There are a few spectacular songs on here. Unfortunately there are only a few of them, and the others leave a little to be desired. But those great songs are pretty great.
Sam Sparro - Black & Gold

65daysofstatic - The Distant And Mechanised Glow Of Eastern European Dance Parties
Post rock is hard to get right, and these guys are on the cusp of greatness so often. Their stuff shows their talent with their instruments, they just haven't blown me away yet.
65daysofstatic - Goodbye, 2007
