Monolith Music Festival, back again, threatening the tired lungs of hip kids all over

Speaking of festivals, Monolith is back. I basically had the best festival experience at Monolith last year, and with a line up like they've got (which isn't complete but, in my mind, still boasts a better line up than Bonnaroo, Coachella, Sasquatch, etc.) it looks like this September (13th & 14th) is going to be just as amazing. Summer festivals, take note, Monolith is doing it right:

Cameron McGill & What Army

Mickey Avalon
A Place To Bury Strangers
Vampire Weekend
The Night Marchers
Del tha Funky Homosapien

The Presets

The Hood Internet

Sunday the 14th:
The Elms
The Rosewood Thieves

Chester French
The Cribs
Tokyo Police Club
Hearts of Palm
Tilly and the Wall

Del looks strange in that lineup, (to say the least).

a little. but knowing that Monolith had like 1 hiphop artist last year, and that Del is a hip kid hip hop music maker, it makes more sense

No way is this better then those other lineups.

This has four great bands and the rest is fluff.

Coachella had a weak one but still managed to get some nice new faces like MGMT. And Bonnaroo looks like the best of all of them. You cant beat a line up with Kanye, Death Cab, MIA, Ben Folds and the Two Gallants to say only a few.

Ur really goin to hold devotchka and T Police Club and up as a headliner compared to that epic line up?

Great bands but no competition.

If by "fluff," you mean "even better bands," then I whole heartedly agree with you.
