I had not expected her performance to be as moving as it was, but I have to say that when I got to the stage, I was almost instantly tingling. I sat in awe at Anni's pure, unadulterated music. It was what everyone at the festival was attempting to do, but clearly no one would even come close to measuring up to Anni Rossi's sound. Her recordings don't do her justice by far...
Like last year, it was the smallest stage that had the most moving performance of the festival (not counting YYY's performance ... but that's because I'm a little too biased to count that)
