At first I thought this album was just an Amy Whinehouse twin, one which wasn't as out of control and in your face. But on second listen, I discovered that Adele is actually so full of heart and soul that, even on the folky songs, she can't help but sound a little Whinehouseish, because when you feel that way, that's the sound you make. It's like what Feist would sound like if Leslie were Amy, but taught how to talk by Regina.
